Default amp overheating?

Hey guys.

I currently have my amp mounted to my back wall behind the passenger seat (single cab truck). Most of my passengers usually slide the seat all the way back to where the seat is pressed up against the amp.

Is this going to cause my amp to over heat?

My guess is that you're running 4 gauge wire with no more than 800 watts.

You'll be fine.

At 2ohms, unless you have a very high-dollar amp, you're probably in the neighborhood of 400-800 watts of power. It's a general guess, I would say, lol.

haha you're right Bwad.

I'm running a 4 channel Crunch amp, I don't recall the wattage right now, but I think it's either 75x4 or 125x4, with some 8 gauge wiring

I'm running it to two pioneer door speakers and the other two channels are bridged for the sub, running 4 ohms.
