Post Opinions on Subwoofers to Match Current Installed Amp

Hey everyone Its been a couple weeks since my last post regarding my alpine type x underperforming and since then I have done many upgrades to get myself ready for a new set of subs to be installed and I would like some advice on what type of subs I should run with my brand new amp. For anyone new to the forums or just for a quick reference here is my current build.

Big three upgrade and amplifier wires all done with 0/1 gauge KnuKonceptz Kolossus Flex OFC Wire (the only wire I will ever buy from this point on thanks to advice on my previous post)

Optima Red Top Battery as primary battery (battery isolator and a second battery will be added to accommodate the sub upgrades massive power demand so keep this in mind when considering brands and output)

130 amp alternator upgrade (from factory 80 amp?)

(New) Pioneer DEH-X9500BHS Headunit (4v RCA Subwoofer Preouts)

(New) Alpine MRX-M240 Mono Power Amplifier (2400 watts @ 2ohm 1500 watts @ 4 ohm and 1000 watts @ 1 ohm)
http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/mrx-m240

I am currently looking to start fresh with the subwoofers as I currently own an alpine type x 12 inch dual 4 ohm voice coil sub and want to take full advantage of my new amps 2 ohm optimized load. Amps birthsheet has an actual output rating of 2652 watts rms at 2 ohms.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now in regards to the subwoofer advice I am looking for maximum SPL while keeping sound quality up. (I do not want heavy hitters that only sound good through a very small frequency range)

Music Genres that I listen to are Rap, EDM (Dubstep, Trap, Electro House, D&B, etc..), Dub/Ambient/Reggae, Some rock & heavy metal.

Box will be custom built to match subwoofers, preference to a dual chambered ported box with separate chambers or 2 identical ported boxes for the back corners to give installation a professional clean look.

Anyway I have a preference currently for 2 15 inch or 2 18 inch dual 2 ohm voice coil subs but 4 12s are not out of the question if the output matches and recommendations are valid.

My Major brand considerations at the moment are....

(2) DC Audio Level 3s (M2LV315D2) 900w rms each
(2) RE Audio SXX SXX15D2 or SXX18D2 (1000 watt rms each)
(2) Sundown Audio? (No model numbers as people constantly talk about running this brand at 2 to 3 times the rms value)
(2) Digital Designs (Again no model numbers as there is no authorized dealer for DD subs around me and ordering from company direct is my only option of obtaining this brand. (Not personally trying to pay full price on them...)
(2) Alpine Type R 15s (750 watt rms each)

Any Input/Personal experience with these brands and subs would be greatly appreciated. Ideally I would like to get myself close to 150db and still have this vehicle as my daily driver.

Thanks a ton in advance, I am not rushing into buying the subs as I have a fully functional system installed. When it comes to specs on subs I get confused and do not really understand where the sensitivity, xmax, qms, etc play into making everything run optimized for my current setup.

In case this part is needed

Other stereo information that may or may not influence decision.
Orion Cobolt CO300.2 2 channel amp powering 2 Infinity 6820cs 6x8 component door speakers (front driver and passenger side)

Same Infinity speakers installed in my back doors currently powered by my headunits built in amplifier.

There is an excellent article about building an SPL box in Car Audio and Electronics Magazine (March 2002). The article is titled "Building Pressure" and it is by Casey Thorson.

The design method works. I've actually built 4 vehicles using the methodology from this article and all four hit 150dB and better.
