Default Aftermarket stereo blows fuse along with parking lamp fuse

Was working on shrink wrapping my wires a few months back and all worked well for about 10 minutes then it sparked and immediately quit working. Today I noticed one of the fuses connected to the radio was blown (hadn't noticed that before). Went out and bought some new fuses, replaced the blown one and all worked well once again for about 10 minutes and then it blew again but it also blew my parking lamp fuse. Very, very confused as to why this is happening. Any ideas?

Well I think I just figured out the problem. It only blows my parking lamp fuse when the after market wiring harness is connected to the stock, internal wiring harness. I'm not really sure how to go about fixing that though.

Take a good picture of your connections so we can see what you did

Was this a new install or were you just going back in to shrink wrap your wiring? If this was an older install that you were just cleaning up, I would take a look at the pins of the wiring harness that you're plugging into the OEM harness. I've seen these get bent before if when they are forced into place causing shorts. You can't see it until you unplug the harnesses from each other.
