Default sub/amp where to put it?

recently i sold my 2000 ford f150 and took out the old sub and amp that was under the back seats. now i have a 2009 supercab ranger and im trying to figure out the best place to mount it that takes up the least amount of space. the sub is a 10''

anyone got any ideas, i did a quick search but didnt help much.
thanks

Many just remove one or both jump seats, and mount the subs there. Amp generally under the seat. Just a simple rule of thumb unless you get creative.

If you mount under the seat, and you have carpet, consider using some rubber bushings as spacers when you screw the amp down. This will give the amp cooling ability which means more power and efficiency and better sound! But yeh, not many options. Mount it on the back wall..on the sub box itself, or under seat.

It is a good idea to keep the amp elevated a tad to help dissipate the heat. Main thing is to allow enough clearence on the top of the amp at the fins. The fins act as a type of radiator. I've got mine mounted under the seat and have yet to encounter any problems. I am in the porcess this next week of building my final install and I'll post pics. Search the threads here there is one that ppl have posted their builds for ideas.

i tried sliding my bassworx amp under the seat and it looks like it would fit but theres these to plastic bracket type things under the seat attatched to the seat frame? anyone else have this?

i want to try and reuse the amp and for another option i was thinking of mounting it on the back cab wall where the jack box is in the middle of the jumper seats. anyone have any thoughts on that? would it rattle?
