Question electronic, radio, subs, amp

Ok so i have a 2004 ford ranger xlt extended cab. And I'm looking to put subs in. Also change thee radio to a better one. I'm looking for advise/tips for my first install. If some one has already done it to theirs and could give some info that would be helpfull. the subs a two 10" inch pioneers premiums 1200W champion series. don't really know where to start. Still in need of an amp and new radio. suggestions welcome. If you guys could help me out that would be awesome!!!!

I would suggest a double din radio if you have the money. Easy to modify the radio bezel to fit one in.

I prefer alpine so I would just alpine headunit, speakers and amp.

I agree you can't go wrong with Alpine speakers and amps but their headunits are lacking what they used to be. Also, not necessary to keep everything the same brand.

Do you already have the Pioneer subs and are they in a box ?

yes ill be buying them from a friend. also yes there in a box.

If you're looking for amp recommendations for those subs we'll need to know which version they are. I believe the Champions came in a dual 4 ohm and a single 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm version. Decent subs though. Should get the job done in that cab.
