Default what sub?

i have an alpine amp. idr the specs on it right at the moment. but i want a 12" sub that would be loud! i had two tens but want one 12 to save space but i dont want to cut down on the sound.

i have a extended cab and i want it to sound good. the plan is to put the sub behind the passenger seat with the amp under the seat.

any suggestions? thanx

My personal Favorite is a 10 inch sub in then right box , it gives you enough lows but will also give you a good mid bass hit . I have had 8s,10,12s and I always come back to the 10 . my system that I will be building will have 1 10inch MTX 8000 series in approx .75 cubic feet of air , this will give me some nice low extension and lots of mid bass snap . you dont need a lot of sub ,just the right combination of speaker /box and power to drive it

I second the vote for Pioneer. Best bang for your buck subwoofers on the market right now IMO.
