Default Cap help

Ok, so i just bought 2 12' subs in place of my 8's that are now blown. Does anyone know how many amps a stock 03 ford ranger XLT 3.0L V6's alternator will put out so i can see if i need a capacitor? THanks in advance!

You can always get an explorer alternator that puts out about 130 amps.

one thing to remember... when adding say 4awg power wire to run your amp... you should always add that the same awg ground to your battery as a ground stiffener. To solve my poer problems since i was running over 10,000 watts of power at one point... I added two batteries a 15 farrad cap and ordered an ohio generator 220a alternator.
