Does anyone know of a knuckle that fits in the ranger that can support a bigger caliper and rotor?

your ranger has a single piston sliding caliper which can't be upgraded, but you can swap out the spindle/hub with that from a 95-97, which has a bolt on dual piston caliper. All you do is swap all of the parts from the ball joints outward (stock i-beams, steering linkages and radius arms). These are bolt on calipers, so they can be adapted to accept a larger rotor and caliper. A member of another Ranger site (which I will avoid mentioning out of respect for this board, you can find it/him if you search) manufactures and sells a kit to upgrade to 14" rotors and calipers from a Cobra.

the mustang is hubcentric and the ranger is lugcentric, they are not a straight swap, what did you do to swap it?
