i have a 87 ford ranger, that has the a4ld, well, the trans is acting up, has reverse when the trans is cold, and no 3rd gear, and when in overdrive, and u come to a stop, it doesnt want to come out of overdrive, what model years trans will fit in my 87 ranger, i was told only a trans out of a 87 will fit, no other years, well, i found one in a bronco 2, that ford said it was "specialty" trans for that year like everybody is saying about mine as well, just wondering if anybody has changed one in this year, and know wether or not ones from different years will interchange, or, if somebody knows what the differences are if there is any?
