Well. I need my emergency brake because my trucks a stick. So any ideas whats wrong with it?

U gotta check ur cable make sure it hasnt ripped. If not something happened at the brake shoes....investigate!!!

Time for a rear brake job. Your truck is almost 18 years old, the hardware and components back there have probably deteriorated/failed anyway if its never been serviced.. A year ago i had my rear brakes done and my e-brake cable replaced (it had snapped) and they told me that the rear brake components were so deteriorated that I basically had no rear brakes. I had been driving around like that and with a broken cable for 4 years. They weren't kidding either, when i got the truck back there was a HUGE night and day difference in stopping power. I didn't realize how unsafe it really was

Hmm. Right now I feel like I got no brakes and just had the front done. Must be the issue. Theres a rear brakeline too right?

Yup. Should be a easy task.. I might just do mine =-O
