Hey Everyone,

I'm looking into getting a Pioneer shallow mount 12" (Pioneer TS SW301) for my 1999 single cab ranger.
Here it is http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_11652_Pioneer+Shallow-Mount+TS-SW301.html

It's mounting depth is 3 and 3/8ths inches. The rest of the specs are on the website.

Has anyone built a box for something like this before? I need some dimension help. My goal is to be able to sit comfortably with the seats almost all the way slid back, and angled a good bit too.

You should be able to do this without much trouble at all. I have a 4-5/16" mounting depth sub in my 97 cab, which is smaller than the 99's.
I cut a piece of cardboard a little bit larger than what would fit behing the seat.
Then I tried to fit it behind the seat with with it all the way back, I then trimmed a little off, and guess and checked it. Worked out fine.
