ok i have a 99 ranger 2wd with the 3.0L. right now it is body lifted on 33s. im kinda getting tired of the gas mileage i get so i am leaning towards lowering it. what do you guys think i should do and are there any pictures of 99 2wd rangers that are lowered?
that way i can see what its gonna look like if i lower it.

i think you should keep it lifted and put the lowering kit money to getting a new rear axle with a gear ratio that will match your engine and tires. this will help your gas milage. 4.10s or 4.56 gears would be best for you.DONT LOWER

im over the lifted truck scene. my ranger is only 2wd and where i live there is no reason for me to have it lifted.
my whole thing is its only 2wd so why leave it lifted plus i dont take it off road anymore ever since i blew up my transmission when i first bought it.
any pictures of any lowered 99 rangers

Why shouldn't he lower it? If he wants to then let him do it.

the way i read it, he was just doing it to save the money on gas, so i offered a solution. and i talked to him and he really just wants to lower it. and yea im all for it. lol. pointed him in the direction of a 5/6 drop kit and flip kit.

Bag it before the wheels air ride is more fun.
