Shew, still gotta get the hitch on, exhaust redone and paint wheel wells. That'll take care of trucks mods for awhile and I can go back to doing some fox mods.

Looks good. Is that the new set of wheels your going with or are you still on the hunt for an extra alcoa?

Thanks! Couldn't find a "nearly new" alcoa to buy so I tried to find the next best thing in my size. I was telling my husband, he needs to get pacer wheels for his F150.

The dealer who did it, said there is a hole in the tailgate behind that plastic and they would have to fill it. They also would take off the plastic on the rails either. Damn Ford dealers

I had that problem to, but what hole are they talking about? If it is where the linkages are I have a spare cover if ya want it. That carrier looks great though.

They were saying the hole was like in the middle of the tailgate. No biggy to me really. If the plastic breaks, maybe I'll look into it but really doesn't bother me. And Thanks!

Fabtech makes a flat mount as well, this one is angled. Has 3 adjustments but even on the lowest, I don't believe you could get a cover over it. Thats why I sold my tonneau.

Looks good! How was the install?

drilll drill drill drill bolt bolt bolt bolt hahahaha

We actually made a slight modification to it becasue of the way it was sitting on the bed. There are 3 mounting holes in this triangular piece. At top single piece we put a piece of painted steel across 3 of the upper bed slats so it would be more secure and line up center in the bed. Other than that, no biggy really.

Thanks Terry!

Well just picked up my hitch tonight so hopefully it'll go on this weekend and I can finally get the exhaust redone. Dammit, the guy who did my hitch has (5) 33x12.5x15 Wrangler MT's on 15 x 10 (?) wheels (similar to alcoa's) and was gonna sell em to me for $500. Dang shame!
