#25 The next DD...?

I sold #24 today and picked #25. Its an 04 2 door extended cab with the 4.0 Automatic. My buddy Brian (auto ,on the forum)had this truck for a while but has other priorities so he sold it to me. It has an overheating issue and alot of dents. I want it to finally get a 4.0 for towing and a newer truck. #14 has been a good truck and I will be selling it once I get this one ready. Took a couple pics but they are not great, I'll get better pics soon. Anyway here they are...

Yeah I need a 4.0 truck with the towing I do. Its not as bad as it looks, it will look alot better with a new door.

You're right... It is a little rough. haha. but i'm sure you'll fix her up real nice. And i have two votes, i'd keep the rims on truck 25 on there. I like them. And paint wise, i'd go for a two toned job. i mean it's gonna be your truck. make it look awesome.

Progress! Let me be the first to say that 4.0 SOHC's suck! It was a bitch getting this sucker out and then One of the cam bolts broke inside the cam and then a torx bit broke of inside a bolt...PITA! Anyway I'm done ranting... I'll let you guys with experience look for the problem...enjoy...lol

lol there is a bed full of parts sitting next to the motor, thats a whole column hanging over the side...

Nah just head gaskets, it ran good just overheated. It was pumping the coolant out of the radiator.

Well I finally got it finished up and drove it some today. It's running good and not overheating so I think I solved the problem. I'm going to drive it for a couple days and see how it acts. So far no cel's or any other obvious problems except I know it needs an alignment and better tires.

Did some swapping this weekend.First I swapped the front bumper, valance, and 06 corners from #14, I had a new painted bumper and valance but they are 01-03 style. I'll add the bull bar later.

I think it's just a reflection on the roof. Out of 2 forums your the first one that noticed the brake light...lol I totally missed it and it rained. After the pictures I add some tape over the hole...lol

Well I kinda just jumped into it and started driving it. I have some stuff that needs done but I'm involved in Brian's project right now and don't have much time. I did get the new tires this week and an alignment so thats something....lol I'll try to post a pic this weekend sometime...265 70 16's
