A quick question from a new member

Hey I'm a new member and have a quick question about the site and I think this is the right place to post it.

I have an 85 ranger with a 2.8 v6
I was wondering if i should put my engine questions in the 2.9 v6 section (they're very similar engines). Or do my questions belong in the other category?

I think its safe to put it there being that its a v6 2.8
