I've been considering on ordering a lightbar or switching bumpers to a prerunner style. I'm leaning MUCH more to the lightbar ideal since I want to keep my fogs and the prerunner bumpers are way expensive. Does anyone have any info on Fabtech's lightbar or maybe others of like designs. I really have been unable to obtain any info for the Fabtech Lightbar aside from needing the Universal design fitment. I'd love to get the RCD Lightbar but unfortunately the one featured on their built ranger was a prototype and they scrapped the ideal of putting it in production.

Waag light bars were the rage a little bit ago. Haven't really seen anything to appealing as of late.

if so, buy the procomp lightbar for 97- trucks, make some brackets and you got a lightbar for your truck. i spent 150 when all was said and done.

i wish i had pics but i can explain the concept to you. if you look on the back side of your stock bumper at the top you will see 2 bolts in the outer area of your grille. they are on the inside of your frame horns. what i've seen done is to take a 2" peice of flat stock steel and make a crease on the top side so that you can bend it in a 90* angle then weld it to give it more strength. drill a hole so you can bolt it to the back of your bumper. then take a peice of angle iron and bolt/weld it to those peices and mount the desired lighting to that. you could use aluminum for a cleaner look of poor man's chrome.

^^^What he said is what I have. They are actually on sale at Underdog-Performance, The Art of Power (http://www.stuffforyourranger.com/store) right now. You buy those tabs and then you can hold 2 lights. After that you can get a flat bar and lay it across the tabs and added 2 more lights in the middle.

Light tabs (the part that mounts to the bumper bolts, on sale for $10 right now, and then above those on the link posted are the 2 options he sells to get a bar across if you want to add 2 more lights.

just curious, Justin, the one you saw made to work on an 06+, were the rubber caps just removed and replaced with a bolt? or was it more involved?
