Is there any way to figure out what tire size my truck came with stock?

I'm trying to judge correct speed/miles driven, etc. My truck currently has 31" tires on it, (31x10.5r15). I assume that the odometer is off a ring gear in the transmission like it is in my jeep, and not software defined like it is on newer vehicles.

When I go online it looks like there were 3 tire size options, 215/235/265 75r15.

That's a pretty big difference between the three sizes, and I assume the ring gear is based off the original size.

On the sticker in your door jam, it should tell you the stock size.

Herdur... I'm special. Got it 265/75r15, which is only 1.3% smaller than the tires I'm currently running, so not something to have to worry about at all, thanks again!

Haha no problem, I didn't know it was there until it was pointed out to me either!

Yeah, but being that almost every car I've ever owned has had a sticker like that with the tire size on it, I should have thought about that first.
