Today the radio in my '86 Ranger bit the dust, i.e. no sound or display. The clock still works, suggesting power is not the problem. The radio had been a bit glitchy, occasionally jumping to a random channel and not wanting to go back. But the problem was rare enough to ignore.
Any suggestion for a possible fix? If it can't be fixed, is there a FAQ or past thread here about radio replacement in the '86? Any special issues with adapting a new unit to my truck's 30-year-old electrical system?
Any recommendations for an inexpensive radio w/ MP3 playback from a thumb drive or SD card?
Many thanks!
