Hey guys im just looking for new speaker for my 06 extended cab. What would be the best speakers to buy, not really worried about money except for maybe something that is just absolutely ridiculous for a speaker. What size do I need to just bolt right in place of my 2 fronts and 2 back ones. (sorry when it comes to electrical and sound, im a complete NOOB.) also I have the stock cd,am,fm radio with 6 presets. Is there anyway to run a cable from the back or adapter to use an ipod without changing the reciever. I used to love aftermarket looks but for some reason now I like the clean look of stock radios as long as they look decent, and have cd player. thanks, Zach.

I suggest the alpine type R speakers.

thanks for the quick post esp it being so early in the morning. anyone got any other options, and btw I dont listen to rap hardly at all and just about always country so having deep bass isnt a concern, just looking for the best speaker to play country. also do you have any insight on how to get the ipod to work? also will those speakers mount straight in, what all would be involved, and what size to get?

6x8 speakers and 5x7 speakers bolt in

I listent to country also and the sound great. Mine are also hooked to a amp so I get a little better sound off them

Another speaker option is the Pioneer 6x8 3 ways. I have them and love them. Clean and crisp.

Do you have the "AUX" button on the stock radio?
