Hydraulic clutches are self adjusting. I'm not sure about the pedal travel. You might want o look at the mechanism under the dash for that. Be careful though. You change the adjustment to much and it might not engage the starter cut out switch properly.

My experience with needing to bleed the clutch more is if the clutch isn't disengaging correctly. That is on another vehicle though, so the Ranger might be different.
