Default Throwing error codes

Blew the hose from the heater core to the thermostat housing. Fixed it temporarly and headed home. While driving home I threw codes P0301 and P0302 which are cylinder #1 and #2 misfire. My CarMD recommends "replace spark plug wires and plugs." Could the steam and coolant blowing out the hose have damaged the wires? It runs very rough at idle and the engine block shakes while idling. Thanks.

To add to this thread, I have replaced the blown hose with a new one after I returned home.
