This was my thought as well. No fuse pulled, no annoying light on the dash and the government mandated BS is ignorantly cruising along thinking all is well. On all of them that I have seen the gears are identical side to side. My brother is good with electrical stuff, and he hates this crap so have him look at this idea.

I just had my first experiance with this crap. Hit a sand wash at the bottom of a hill at speed to make the hill and all kinds of crap was going on. Truck was very hard to control and the damn motor died basically, had to back down and run it again with the button pushed, and still it sucked. This is a hill I have done in my van many times with no problem. Crap! Government needs to stay out of my life. Whatever they touch they screw up.
