Default ignition syst. ground on distributorless 3.0?

Does anyone know where the ignition system gets to ground on a 95 3.0 v-6 distributorless system? I have changed crank and cam sensors and the coil pack. I still have an occasional no spark on starting (it has never died running). I have power consistently to the coilpack and have checked the cam sensor is timed and hall-effect is working. Shops have recommended a new wiring harness, but no one yet can tell me where the system finds ground -Not even the dealership knows! their computers only go back to 97. I know the wipers for some reason ground at a unit called a GEM which is conveniently placed behind the radio. Nobody yet has known what GEM stands for. Since no one else has stepped up, I propose we call it a Gizmosis Entanglement Module.
