to put me back to stock-like gearing. compensating for the increased tire size and rolling mass. i had 4.10's and 30.5's stock....getting me back to stock equivilent, I'd need a 4.66 gear. since there's no available 4.66 gearing, my choices are 4.56 or 4.88. going to the 4.88 & 34.8's = 4% lower gearing than stock and also equals a lower crawl ratio. this added compensation takes care of some of the weighty issues too....so it's vitually driving like stock now.
