Default 4.6 cop motor

Hello i have a 1999 3.0 l ranger and im look at put a 4.6 cop motor in it want to find out how hard it is and what i doing about the wiring.

What state do you live in? So be honest I think itl be super right fit? Not sure if itl go in cause stock engines are tight already in the ranger, and I would say its gonna need a new transmission, much trying we suspension, maybe even reinforcement of the frame cause its a wavy engine. You might have to see how much heavier it is compared to your stock and go from their, cause if significantly heavier you'll have to go through alot to compensate, especially not to mention new brake system, you'll be able to go but how stop? I'd do it if I were you and it works...

it's not gonna fit. period. those modular engines are so much wider than even a 5.0 that it's ridiculous.

351w is same block size as 302 i did my work
