Not to start any arguments, but the stock manifolds are very restrictive. They do ok till u start adding more go fast parts. They can be port matched, but that only helps to an extent. Then they go back to big restrictors. Not saying headers are a must, but to build big power imo they are.

Those are quite cheap and plentiful. The 4cyl focus. Most used carlots have one or two. Perfect to learn on. If its the 2.0 it will need timing belts every 80 to 90k. So perfect to learn with.
