Get a book - MRE has one, and check out the harwood manual.

http://www.harwoodperformance.bizland.com/

There's no one way to do this... You take a route and tackle issues along the way. The more thought you put into what path you're taking ahead of time will make it easier on yourself, but that route is all dependent on what you're going to use drive train wise and what you want to use the truck for. Not recommended if you don't have some kind of experience, going to end up with a train wreck.

I've put motors in and stuff like that but nothing like this , but I got mechanics in my family and I'm pretty mechanically inclined myself. I'm tryin to do as much as possible on my own. As for the drive train I wanna find a 95-96 F-150 5.0L 4x4 Manuel and use the motor, tranny, front, and rear axles. And as for what its gunna be used for is anything and everything

I do believe that www.jeffsbroncograveyard.com sells kits for putting. 5.0 , check it out it is under the ranger and mazda be section

----------

But yourself a 4x4 f150, and a ford ranger 4x4 and everything on the front of that 4x4 ranger should bolt right up to yours at the most youl need to drill a couple holes.

You will probably need to make a cross member to hold the trans up, and lastly custom drive shafts will probably be needed, everything els can be taken off the f150 computer harness ext. as far as headers go get some shortys not much room under the hood of a ranger as it is

To take a ttb front end from an f150 and put it on a ranger would be a waist of time money and I don't even thin it's possible, you could however use the danna 44 solid and a ford 9 inch.

Honestly you could put 11 12k I'm that to do al of this, or sell it and buy something that has this all done already

When you say ttb do you mean twin I-beam? And when you say 11 12k are you talkin money? And do you mean Dana 44 straight axel? Why not Dana 60? And why don't you think the T-I-B front end will work?

TTB mean twin traction not twin I beam but I guess however you want to say it. And yes thousands of dollars you want a Dana sixty under it? For what! ? That's 800 dollars alone with a rebuild. Do whacha want bud seems like your the man with the plan I don't see what your asking? No one is going to walk you through all of that , just buy a big ass truck a super duty power stroke the 20 k youl drop on that will be far less then the money and headaches you will put into a fucking ranger! There's actually a ranger on Craig's in Orlando Dana's front and back 50 something inch tires big ass engine he can't even get 2k for it and ya can't drive that on the road

----------

Oh and a ford full size TTB front end will take to much mods to make it worth it, the Fromt diff on your ranger is no different then whats one a full size just a little smaller in width , and the rear 8.8 In that ranger is the same rear youl find in a ford full size again just shorter.
