how much are 5.0s running these days? dose it matter if it comes from a crown vic or exporer or an f-series? dose it bolt up to the trany?? i have a 2005 fx4 4.0

your best bet is to get an explorer engine and trans, the one junkyard that i talked too said they would sell me an engine for $300, but it would basically be cut out so if i wanted to save any wiring or other stuff i would have to strip that out before i had them cut it out, i just bought and explorer for 1500 and when i'm done the swap i will part out whatever is left

i have a 93 and was wantin to put a 351 in it how much different is it than doin a 302 swap cuz i have a 91 4x4 w a 302
