Default divorced transfer

Anyone ever done the v-8 swap with a divorced transfer case? I have a t-5 trans and a divorced transfer out of a 75 3/4 ton. My question is do I need to put a drive shaft between the two or can I bolt them directly together?

Sorry, only divorce I ever had was me and the old lady. Sounds awesome though, it seems everybody that does V8 swaps does it for the street, I'd like to see some tech stuff for the off roaders. I don't see why you couldn't just bolt them together as long as they hook up good. Usally they are seperated for space reasons. What does the output of your tranny and input of your transfer case look like?
