Default 93 Ranger V8 with a PT88 turbo

Hello
I received an invitation to join the site via e-mail. And here I am. I own a 1993 Ford Ranger that came with a v6 4.0 which was nice. I've owned the truck since 99. One day I was watching a truck in cardomain that had a v8 5.0L, and that truck looks nice as hell. So I decided to do the same with my truck. I bought a 347 stroker shortblock and then the rest. When I finished the truck is was a lot of fun to drive. Unfortunately a few months later the block cracked, so I decided to go big. That's when I bought a 302BOSS 4-bolt main block and forged internals.

Anyways here are some pics of my truck

This is how the truck looked about 4 years ago

I decided to install the headers on the old block to see if it hits the bellhousing, since this headers are designed for the ranger and the bellhousing for a mustang, but I got lucky

Took the cab of to paint the chasis and to do some measurements

here's the fuel tank with the pump

The genius behind all this and that's my dad on the left

^^^ That was the old engine... In with the new

Scat crank capable of 1000 hp

Probe SRS pistons

Putting it together

Here is the small turbo lol

here's some pics of the intercooler which is treadstone performance tr12 1000hp capable (30x12x4.5)

My Electric water pump

B&G Custom exhaust manifolds

It's nice that everything fits under the stock hood!!!! LOL

My gauge setup

Full 3.5 exhaust

MAF Sensor upgrade

My breather tank setup

This is a small video of the truck when I did a basic tune

That's it for now. I'm working on getting big brakes for the truck, tires and a little softer suspension, which I didn't take pics, I have a ford 9" rear with 4.11 posi on coil overs.

Any question feel free to ask

When my 4.0 gives up, which won't be for a while, I'll do this conversion. Nice setup! How much did it cost for everything? I'd like to get an idea of how much everything's going to add up to.

If you want to do my turbo setup exactly be prepape to drop a lot of gs!. My cost are roughly an estimate of spending since I never kept track. Shortblock was like $3000.00 for forged internals and 4-bolt main block (BOSS302 block). Heads $1200.00 with scorpion roller rockers and trickflow pushrods and heads also. $700 for the msd ignition kit. $500.00for the trickflow(aeromotive made) fuel rails. $300.00 for the 80 lbs injectors. $1300 for the turbo. $300 for the intercooler. $2000.00 for the custom made headers and piping. $ 3000.00 for the tremec tko-500 transmission, bellhousing and clutch. $800.00 for the custom made driveshaft. $2000.00 for the ford 9" rear with 4.11 gears. $300 for the sct chip. $250 for the computer and harness. $800 for both radiators and 4 fans. $ 200.00 in hoses (the additional radiator is probably just my invention since I didn't want to put a radiatior on the bed, remember that when you boost the temperature rises so you need a good radiatior, so thats up to you). And more but it's a lot of writing lol!

I think I have covered most of my build but I never took shots of my rear end (don't know why, I guess I was too lazy) with my coil overs, my oil cooler and my additional radiatior. If you want more pics please be specific and i'll try to post them. As for brakes I will be upgrading it to wilwood big brakes since I have the conversion kit. Videos you said?? You betcha!!!!
