Default 4.6 SOHC swap not DOHC? Anyone

Has anyone done a 4.6 SOHC swap not a DOHC swap? I am looking forward to getting a 99 ranger 2wd sport and want to drop the engine/manual trans out of my wrecked 99 Mustang GT in it. I am planning to run the mustang harness. What do I all need for the swap?
Has anyone done one and pics?

Thanks,
Ben

P.S. I have been researching but only been finding like DOHC swaps.

i had one out of a cop car, i was going to try, but the block was too wide to work with, im not sure where the steering column sits in yours, but i know i was going to have alot of fitment issues to make it not worth it. if youve got nothing but time and good fabrication skills, it could be cool, but for the money a 5.0 swap would be easier/cheaper. id sell the 4.6 and trans and get a good 302 and c4.....just my opinion.

A sohc swap won't be much different than a dohc swap, except you'll have more room up top. You'll have less interferance with the HVAC box, might not have to move the steering shaft as much, and you'll have more room for the exhaust. Other than those things everything else should be the same (motor mounts, etc).
