5.0 in 2002 ranger edge 4wd?
Hey im just wondering what V8 to put in my ranger and which one is the easiest thanks alot

Easiest would be get a pre 2000 truck and put it in that.
Easiest would be go with a carb install wise, if you ahve experience getting them just right. Gas milage wise FI is the way to go, worth the extra wiring work in the end.
Find a running low miles exploder parts truck with 4wd, get a welder, gather tools, swap away.
If you're down for a challenge, find one not running and rebuild it. I'd go with a running expo with low miles, then do seal gaskets etc. Then it should be solid.

i got explorer 5.0 efi in my 2000

2000 ford ranger 5.0/4r70w/np208 gt40p heads, mustang T/B and injectors, true dual flowmaster 10s no cats, 4r70w auto with trans go aod hd 2 shift kit and full manual valve body. 4x4,locked 9in rear,locked coil dana 44 front with 4.10s , 8in lift springs, 3in bl. on 34/10.5s,or 38-15-15s 8000k hids, 7in flip out dvd player, 2 kicker 12s and 2400watt amp

I meant 2000 or older, I now see I said pre 2000. IMO those would be easy peasy compared to the newer trucks.
Don't get discouraged though, It can be done to a 2011, it's jsut a little more work. :-P
The world needs more 5.0 Rangers.

Find ya an AWD 5.0 Explorer & EVERYTHIN swaps right over!
I have a customer/friend that has built 2 ofem, a Std. cab & a Supercab. His DD is a Supercab 4x2 with 5.0 Explorer motor & auto.
His FIRST was a 302'd 85 std. cab with T5 5spd....he's maticulas, and you coulda ate off any part of that truck & it looked FACTORY!
