Default another 5.0 question

this is probably already on the forum but i couldnt find it so forgve me if it is. I am looking to do 5.0 swap in my 93 splash 2wd and it has a 3.0v6 with a 5speed tranny. I want to know if the 5 speed tranny would "bolt up" to the 5.0, or would i be better off getting an entire drive train from a 5 speed 5.0 stang

this should help out alot :P. it talks about the transmissions somewhere in there. says something like it wouldnt work since the v6 transmission couldnt handle the power for any good period of time?

The bell housings are different, and the M5OD-R1 is an integral bell housing (you can't change it). You are going to need to use a v8 transmission. Search for a Ranger 8.8" swap if you want to replace the 7.5". Drive shaft will either need to be modified or made custom, lucky if it's the right length - definitely don't want to base you engine placement on a drive shaft you have. A brand new custom made drive shaft for my swap was under 300.
