i am in search of an 02 EXT cab edge stepside

i have plans of dropping in a carbed 306 with nitrous
but i am wondering if it will work or not because of emissions since it is an OBDII
if i were to put the carbed 306 will it work, if not, what would i need to do to make it work?
anything i need to make the engine fit( i.e. new k-member?,)

i am a noob to the ford ranger but have had growing interest in getting one, i dont plan on slamming it or lifting it, just a simple 1 or 2 inch drop
