Will a 5.0 mustang V8 fit in a 92 ranger????

seen it done, not sure what all had to be done ... there is a body style like the 89-92 ranger on here where he put a 5.0 in

Assuming you are talking about the 302 Windsor it should be fine, you will need to fabricate some new engine mounts as well as a possible transmission upgrade, depending on the year and power of the V8.

Not directly, but yes. defintely enough info out there to guide you through the entire process.

They carry all of your engine needs with the exception of the mounting system, radiator, and intake manifold. Summit Racing now carries a swap kit that should work up until the 97 model year. Look here for camshafts:

If you can get the entire car as a donor, even better. The hardest thing ive had to deal with is the clutch actuation, cables suck, get an external slave cylinder unless your'e going with automatic.

yep it will fit, have a 89 5.0 in my 1991 ranger...
