Default Best rear suspension swap for V8 ranger?

hey,

I was wondering what the best rear suspension setup would be for a 1999 and newer ranger. This would prob be used most in a street, and sometimes track or drag use?

Live axle? IRS? stock ranger suspension with 2/3 drop? or lower?

thnkz,

DRFTNGKNG

9" shortened to your specifications. leaf sprung would be easiest, and definitely run traction bars to keep wheel hop/ axle wrap to a minimum.

the amount of drop depends on what you want to do, what size tires you run, etc.

come on, bud. you gotta be able to find things on your own if you're going to attempt to tackle a v8 swap. google is your friend.

8.8" live axle with 3:73 gears or maybe traction lock. so even with the traction bars, will there be a slight chance of wheel hop? prob very minor.

----------

loll yes google has helped solve some problems about this setup.

9" hands down. The 8.8" is awesome, but there's no reason not to go 9". Overkill is underrated.
