Default Kick down/TV cable? Explorer AOD

What is everyone doing for the kick down/ TV cable in the 94 ranger with explorer 5.0 and the AOD trans? I am having trouble adjusting the pressure.

I have a carb w/ AOD and I am using a Lokar cable. I set it per the instructions with a set of transmission pressure gauges.

I tried the lokar cable. It won't work with my set up.

Make sure you're using the right end. The factory used 2 different ones. Don't know the Lokar one. BTW it's not a kick down cable, it's a throttle pressure cable/rod depending on the year. As such it's very important to install it. Without it, OD band will only last about 50 miles.
