Default sbc into 94 4x4

I'm sure a few have done it. Can anyone give me some if not all the ins and outs on this. I am considering it because my 4.0 is bored and stroked, has a jet chip and still lackes in the raw power I'm used to having off road. Any tips and tricks to make this happen is greatfully appriciated.

A small block FORD motor, would look a hell of a lot better in your Ranger than a SBC.... Look at 302's bro!
