I have a 1995 ranger 4x4 with a 4.0 manual trans. I also have a 1988 f150 4x4 with a 302 and manual trans. My question is would this be a pretty easy v8 swap? Would I be able to use the tranny from the f150 in the ranger? What could I use from the f150 and what would i still need? Thanks guys

if i had to guess. the shifter location would be pushed towards the rear of the truck more then the factory ranger 5spd. the F150 trans is probably a little larger, may need to cut a good amount out of the floor board.
