I also sprayed the bed with the same bedliner in a can. It's prob not that durable but this truck will only be hauling a$$, not cargo. Lol

I wanted to clean and paint the engine bay so I removed everything like the wiring, brake booster, wiper motor, and a few other things. Once I started sanding it down, I decided to go a bit further. I had seen a few trucks on the internet that had trailer fenders welded into the inner fenders. They really looked clean so............I went to the tractor supply store and spent fifty bucks.

I removed the fenders to tackle the next modificaion

I figured out where the best spot was to position the fenders. I temp bolted em to the outer sides of the inner fenders and traced them out with a sharpe.

I tried to cut them with a sawzall but it was too hard to follow the lines. I used a cutoff wheel and it worked great. Here is the cut...

I realized that the heater box and blower motor had to be installed before welding the passenger side fender it so I bought some paint and painted the area behind the heater box. I also bought a new blower motor since it can't be changed after the fender is welded in. Here is the notching I had to do to fit the passenger side fender

After welding them in, I used body seam sealer to cover the welds. I smoothed it out like applying caulk.
