I have an 91 ford ranger with a 2.3 and a 5 speed. My question is is there enough room for me to install a v8 and not have to remove my a/c? If not ima just turbo it or spray her!

an explorer v8 should allow enough room for its a/c components inside of a ranger engine bay so if you get all the a/c components and valve covers it should work

yes
because if your truck is like mine you have a v belt pulley system where as the most the newer 302's ive seen use a serpintine belt i mean you might MIGHT be able to make it work with some bubba riging but if your going to do a v8 swap i would recomend you get the whole drive pulley system and components off of a 302 explorer because they are very small and compact and give you the most room to work with in the engine bay and you can keep a mechanical fan

and by ac components i just mean the ones in the engine bay like the compressor condenser accumulator (buy a new one of these they arent that expensive and need to be replaced if the ac is opened at all) ac/heater box (i think you can keep the box not sure tho) and all the hoses but as far as the cab goes i dont think you need anyother components

I got an engine out of a 93GT with 69,000 miles on it and all the accesories. Im not sure if the passenger side valve cover would clear the box that holds my evaperator and clear the a/c dryer? It looks kinda tight and dont wana try it and it dont fit because i gota have a/c!

well im sure the valve cover will clear i just dont know how the rest of the stuff will work with the existing ac
