Default 4.0l to 4.6l swap

I'm looking for info and opinions on reaping my 1994 ford ranger splash 4.0l 5 speed to a 4.6l 5 speed out of a 1998 ford mustang

Its been discussed but ive yet to see it happen. The 4.6 is alot wider than the ohv 5.0's that are the common swap into rangers. It would require alot of custom work to wedge that beast in there. Having an HVAC system would be pretty much impossible as well. Might even have clearance issues with the brake booster. Lots of work...

Looks like someone riced out a Mustang. Since you are dreaming, how about a 1971 Boss 351?

I have been measuring it and is I use the brake booster out of the mustang I could make it work with a slight relocation but as far as the hvac, yeah that would be pretty hard

It's actually my daily but I'm about to buy a Tahoe daily and I'm going to strip this mustang it does have alot done to it but more muscle upgrades than ricer it has a pretty good looking hood and the body kit is pretty nice I don't like the front bumper though

and that doesn't even include the accessory drive system and the PATS system/ rest of the electrics
