Default Fuel trims

Hey guys been doing some poking around in the internet and had a question that I havenít been able to get answered. Got a truck with p0420 and p0430 codes. Was trying to diagnose truck using the fuel trims and noticed one thing. Both short term fuel trim 1 & 2 stay the same for the most part after letting vehicle idle for a while and watching the trims I have seen 1 get above 10. But the long term fuel trims are different. 1 is at 5.5 and 2 is at 7. I know that the short trims are supposed to be similar but what about the long term trims ?
