Exclamation 94 ranger 2.3L to a LS6 or LQ9 swap

I have been building my ranger, (prerunner style) for a few years now. I have now over built my motor. (Too much weight not enough juice)All that is left on my build is a v-8, auto trans, driveline, rear end, and 4-link.
I want to do a ls2, ls6, or an lq9 swap. Space is not an issue as its fully caged front to back and completely re-fabricateable. Just curious if someone has done the swap to a chevy motor and has any input. Looking for an easy way out here with already designed and built motor mounting brackets for this swap. Im ready to gut this truck and do a complete overhaul on motor, trans, rear end and electrical. Thanks in advance for any input!!! Stay mobbin my friends!

Go with the LQ9 if you are going to do one

And be prepared to spend a lot of money and do. A lot of fab work

If you are going to have to smog this truck it will have to go to a state inspector to approve it meaning it's 94 or newer and have all of the emissions components in place. They make kits for the 5.0 to put in pre 97 rangers. If you are set on the ls get a vortech from a Silverado.

Just get an expo 5.0 for cheap, build the living crap out of it, slap a C4 or C6 behind it and you'll most likely have more power and more money left over at the end of the day. If you want to get real frisky maybe a 347 stroker, or 351. There are tons of old junked f150s and f250s with 351s out there that you can get for dirt cheap.
