Gotta admit, wish I had the need for a high torque starter on my Ranger!

With my problem child 5.0 on a stand and probably needing a new cam, the temptation to go aftermarket for the cam is very very real.

But, the desire for a stroker kit WITH an aftermarket cam is darn near as real.

The nice thing, by the time I add the cost of a nice cam and lifter kit to the cost of a stroker kit and an Explorer FEAD harmonic balancer for the stroker kit, my wallet convinces me to live with the stock 5.0 and TM headers!

Yeah I went to a solid roller and had to get new lifters, push rods. My cam is a .672 lift. It was like 1,000 dollars more.

I found a horse power to et calculator and it says it should run a 11.38. if it will run that I think I'll be happy with it.
