Ok, I am no body guy, but I decided to tackle the hood. I bought a 4x10' section of 18 gauge sheet metal and got to town. I like to think of it right now as Frankenhood. The sides on it now are temporary so I could get the right hight. They will be cut out once the new sides are matched up, and it will be supported evenly accross the back. I stitch welded the front and started to grind it down with a flapper wheel when I ran out of time. It will take one more scoop up the middle to clear the piping.

Looks pretty awesome if you ask me. After all the weld is polished down, the other scoop is in, new sides and its all purdied up with paint, it will look pretty crazy.

A RangeStang...awesome....jp lol I kinda figured. If I lived closer I'd come help. I may have to swing down if I go to Moab next year. I've got some metal skills, lol not great but I can make it work out with enough welding and a grinder lol Good luck

Drive shaft loop, and apparently the finger. LOL

Black looks a lot better on the pipes.

Tranny coolers relocated , exhaust hooked up , driveline loop.

New Y pipe in, turbos and piping reinstalled.

Rich made adipstick bracket, tied up lines.

Rich tied up the wiring harness. Generally cleaned up everything with zip ties.

Rich moved the oil filter, NOS, and ECM.

Looks a little meaner now.

Its all downhill now. Couple little thing and its ready for the track.

We were only out to do shakedown runs. First time the truck was on the track. We left with about 2 PSI of boost because we pushed through the brakes. Should be leaving with about 30 PSI. Letting out a little before the 1000' best was a 12.2 at 115, but again, were not even hitting it with nitrous yet, and we were only there to get the suspension tuned. Same guy that tuned Todd Moyer, (3rd guy to enter the MT 3 second club on a 10.5" tire) tuned my ranger's 4 link. We built it for a 9, we want a low 9.
