if i was gonna get an F150 as a DD, i think i'd go for a '97-03ish, they are fairly cheap, they have comfy interiors, get respectable fuel milage (a buddie of mine with a '98 ext. cab F150 4x4 with the 4.6 gets about 18 MPG around town.)

if it was a second vehicle, i'd look for a bullnose, bricknose or OBS ( '80-86, - '87-91 & '91-96) ford, if it was an F150 i would want the 300 I6, 5 speed stick, and 4x4. if it was a 250 or bigger it would need to be ether a 460 or an IDI desiel. or a 7.3 powerstroke.
