Brad the best way to get them off is take a picture first so you can see where the sit. Then turn them all the way to the left. When they stop turning, turn them somemore and pull up they will pop off. To put them back on put them on anywhere and refer to your pictures and spin then to the left till they line back up. Just don't push them down to hard or they will get stuck when you driving.
