Default Re: How to: Rear disc brake conversion for stock Ranger rear end

Well my drums just started to grind, so I figured rather than drop $50 bux on shoes and turn the drums, I decided to take the plunge and do the swap. So far, I have the dust shields, backing plates, calipers, anti-moan brackets, 2 sets of good used pads for $137.50 + $54 for new Raybestos rotors. All I have left is to get the brake lines. Since this is a budget swap, I am going rubber on those. Speaking of which, does the stock Mustang rubber bolt directly to the Ranger hard line? I know the Banjo is 10mm, but the female end is suppose to be 3/16? I looked under the rear end today and saw the hard line to the drum. I figure I am going to cut the hard line and re-flare the ends to shorten em up a lil bit. Thanks to the OP 2 years ago for posting this mod. I appreciate anything that will make my truck safer!
