Re: Slow Fuel Gauge. (resurrecting an old thread)
Hello everyone,
I seem to be having the same problem and would like to try the "anti-slosh module" fix. Never having seen the backside of the instrument cluster I was wondering if anyone could give me a clue as to what I am looking for? My problems started when I had my Ranger in for a trans flush and was told they would replace my blown dash bulbs for an extra $10. I had just been dealing with them, but for $10 how could I say no? The fuel guage problems started soon after. I just deal with it now but it makes it really hard to get a good MPG reading when I have no clue how close to empty I am.
I have access to a "pick-n-pull" yard and can get a whole cluster for $25. I can probably get just the little board for much less, but I don't even know where behind the cluster to look or what it even looks like.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
